Snowfall warning

Environment Canada has posted this PUBLIC ALERT:

Hazardous winter conditions are expected. An intense Pacific warm front will arrive this afternoon. The front will move in from the south and spread warmer, moist air over the colder Arctic air still in place at the surface. Snow will start falling this afternoon and become heavier into the evening.

In anticipation of this weather forecast, we have decided to close both daycares (Heritage Mountain Daycare & Rocky Point Daycare) at 3pm today. This will allow our families and staff to get home before the afternoon rush through the heavy snow that is expected. You are more than welcome to pick up your child earlier if you wish, since the snowfall is expected to start around noon. Please arrange your pick up time with the teachers.
